The basic dress is a great all-rounder! Wonderful as a breezy summer dress with short sleeves, or perfect for cooler days when made from summer sweat fabric with long sleeves!
This dress has a relaxed fit and is simply comfortable for young children. It can be sewn sleeveless, with flutter sleeves, long sleeves, or short sleeves. It's just as suitable for playing and running around as it is for dressier occasions! For example, you can add lace trim (at the hem), a faux button placket, or piping. It's designed for jersey and summer-weight sweatshirt fabric.
The pattern is designed only for stretchy jersey and summer sweat/French terry.
