The Ruffle Favorite #22 is a pattern for a sweet, romantic sweater or shirt with overlapping sleeves in sizes 74 - 170.
The sweater is perfect for autumn over a dress or tunic.
There is a ruffled flounce at the bottom of the torso that extends to where the back pieces overlap. The back pieces overlap and are then fixed with a seam or buttons, so that it opens up too far at the back.
The narrow sleeve is intended for jersey and is wide enough to fit a tight long-sleeved shirt underneath. The wide sleeve is for summer sweat or jersey if the top underneath is not quite as tight. And if you want to sew the whole thing as a shirt for warm days, choose a short sleeve.
