We wanted a true classic for our wardrobe. A shirt or dress that can be worn all year round, that always makes you look well-dressed, that has a slim fit – but isn't skin-tight.
This is how DORA came about – a classic shirt that can also be sewn as a dress. The slightly larger round neckline, finished with a facing, and the slim but not tight shape make Dora very feminine, while at the same time not constricting or emphasizing the stomach and arms.
The waistline is subtly defined, and the narrow sleeves have a comfortable width. The pattern also includes a version with gathered puff sleeves. The slight puff sleeves give Dora an even more feminine touch. Dora can also be worn as a dress and paired beautifully with boots or casually with tights and sneakers.
We are delighted to add this newly interpreted classic to our pattern collection. This pattern is designed for stretchy jersey fabrics.
